چکیده

Topological semimetals are exotic phases of quantum matter with gapless electronic excitation protected by symmetry. Benefitting from its unique relativistic band dispersion, topological host abundant states and effects, such as Fermi-arc surface chiral anomaly. In recent years, due to the potential application in computing, hybrid system topology superconductivity has aroused wide interest community. Recent experimental progress semimetal-superconductor heterojunctions is reviewed two aspects: 1) Josephson current a mode filter different states; 2) detection manipulation Majorana zero modes. For former, utilizing interference, ballistic transport revealed, higher-order discovered, finite-momentum Cooper pairing superconducting diode effect realized. latter, detecting a.c. Dirac semimetals, 4π-periodic supercurrent discovered. By all-electric gate control, transition obtained. Outlooks future research on their braiding computing discussed.

Unconventional Josephson effect in hybrid superconductor-topological insulator devices.

We report on transport properties of Josephson junctions in hybrid superconducting-topological insulator devices, which show two striking departures from the common Josephson junction behavior: a characteristic energy that scales inversely with the width of the junction, and a low characteristic magnetic field for suppressing supercurrent. To explain these effects, we propose a phenomenological...

Theory of the Josephson effect in superconductor / ferromagnet / superconductor junctions

To reveal the influence of the exchange interaction on the Josephson effect, the d.c. Josephson current in unconventional-superconductor / ferromagnet / unconventional-superconductor junctions is studied. When the two superconductors have d-wave symmetry, the Josephson current is drastically suppressed with the increase of the exchange interaction. On the other hand, when the two superconductor...

Large Tunable Thermophase in Superconductor – Quantum Dot – Superconductor Josephson Junctions

In spite of extended efforts, detecting thermoelectric effects in superconductors has proven to be a challenging task, due to the inherent superconducting particle-hole symmetry. Here we present a theoretical study of an experimentally attainable Superconductor - Quantum Dot - Superconductor (SC-QD-SC) Josephson Junction. Using Keldysh Green's functions we derive the exact thermo-phase and ther...

Topological semimetal in honeycomb lattice LnSI.

Recognized as elementary particles in the standard model, Weyl fermions in condensed matter have received growing attention. However, most of the previously reported Weyl semimetals exhibit rather complicated electronic structures that, in turn, may have raised questions regarding the underlying physics. Here, we report promising topological phases that can be realized in specific honeycomb lat...
